Set Solid AIGA Poster
This project involved designing a poster and campaign for AIGA’s upcoming event “Set Solid”. The goal was to reflect the workshop’s creative energy through a visually captivating manner.
Concept Development
To reflect the workshop’s experimental spirit, I developed a piñata inspired concept using handcrafted letterforms to create a playful tone.
Construction
Using my sketch as a reference, I constructed the letterforms and piñata from scratch. I was considerate of space to ensure harmony between the letterforms and skull design for the piñata.
Final Type Treatment
Cardboard and tissue paper were used to construct the letterforms. Paired with the type, the blue and green accents reinforce the piñata theme.
Photo Composite
All the assets were brought into Adobe Photoshop for the final photo composite. Use the image slider to view the before and after.
Final Poster
Shot outdoors, the composition captures the workshop’s playful energy.
